Yes, there are different parts of the story and the more you look at and think about them the story or novel will shape itself or you will see different possibilities.

A Substack bestseller lady writer in England who writes about woman writers who were among the first who attended Cambridge really liked your story. And who's to say what form your "not now a novel" will take. Just keep all these "chapters" in a safe place. You could purchase Atticus writing software for a one time 4,520 rupees or $49 where there will be a ready made home for your "not yet a novel story" to grow up into a novel. A prequel next chapter will be perfect. [And you don't really need to tell anyone it's a real story.] The cool thing about Atticus is that it will allow you to work things around and keep backup copies of everything you do. I think your copy editing is excellent but you could always go to Reedsy to interview for a really professional book editor if you feel you need one. If you write it bit by bit, it will find it's way. You seem to have the perfect amount of detachment from the story to make reviewers wonder if it is real or imaginary. It's all good no matter what. Looking forward to the prologue!

Thanks so much, Larry, for your encouragement and suggestions. I am writing bit by bit, as you suggest, like figuring out pieces of a puzzle one at a time, and hope one day they’ll all fit together in one story if not a book.

Excellent. The suspense at the end is the most excellent part having gradually been intensified. The first chapter of a new novel? Looking for Chapter 2.

Thank you, Larry. I'm pleased you think it's part of a novel, because it's not fiction, true story of my life... I leave it to the reader to imagine/interpret what happens next. But I can tell you, there's a prologue to this story, again a true story, which I will post in a while...
